GALAXICAN

Privacy Policy

Effective 31 July 2026

Galaxican collects nothing, transmits nothing, and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking of any kind. Your game progress is saved on your own device and never leaves it.

The app has no network access. On Android the release build declares no permissions at all — not even internet access — so it is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere. On iOS it requests no permissions and shows no tracking prompt.

Everything below is detail.

Who we are

Galaxican is published by Jose Antonio Licon, contactable at privacy@galaxican.com.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, share or process any personal information. We have no servers, no accounts, no logins and no way to identify you.

Specifically, Galaxican does not collect or access:

We use no advertising networks, analytics services, attribution or measurement SDKs, social login, or third-party trackers. There is no “anonymised” or “aggregated” collection either — the category does not apply, because no data is gathered.

What is stored on your device

Galaxican saves your progress locally so the game remembers where you were. It is written to your device’s standard app storage and visible only to the app.

StoredWhy
Which levels you have completedto unlock the next level
Your best time per level, per speedto show your records
Which speed tiers you have earnedto offer them again
Which tutorial screens you have seenso they do not repeat
Whether extra content has been unlockedto honour a purchase

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to us, synced between your devices, or readable by us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it permanently — we hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on request and no way for us to restore it.

Purchases

Galaxican is a one-time paid app. Your payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see, receive or store your name, payment card, billing address or any other transaction detail. The stores tell us only anonymous, aggregated sales totals.

Your purchase is governed by Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies, not this one. Refunds are handled by them.

What the app stores do independently

Even though Galaxican collects nothing, Apple and Google collect information when you download or pay for any app, and both platforms may gather crash reports or device diagnostics at the operating-system level depending on your own device settings. That processing is theirs, not ours, and we receive none of it.

Children

Galaxican is rated suitable for all ages because it contains no objectionable content, but it is a general-audience game and is not directed at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — because we do not collect personal information from anyone, of any age. There is nothing for a parent or guardian to request, correct or have erased. If you have a question anyway, write to privacy@galaxican.com.

Your rights

Privacy laws including the GDPR (Europe and the UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and comparable regimes elsewhere give you rights over personal information a company holds about you — to access it, correct it, delete it, port it, or refuse its sale.

We hold none, so there is nothing to exercise those rights against. We have never sold or shared personal information and have no mechanism to do so. If you want to confirm this, ask.

Security

The strongest privacy guarantee is not collecting data in the first place, which is the approach here. Your save data sits in your device’s app-private storage, protected by your device’s own passcode, biometrics and disk encryption. Keeping your operating system up to date is the most useful thing you can do to protect it.

Changes

If Galaxican ever adds a feature that changes any of the above — online multiplayer, leaderboards, cloud saves or crash reporting would all qualify — this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the effective date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.

We will not begin collecting personal information without saying so here first.
